Operating Instructions for a Twin screw sinking fish feed making machine

Twin screw small fish food pellet making machine blockage: Emergency handling and prevention. Blockages often occur in the feeding section or die head, with the core causes being excessively high raw material moisture content, excessively coarse particle size, or excessively fast feeding. Emergency handling: Immediately stop the machine and cool it down, shut off the feeding system, disassemble the extruder, use special tools to clean residual material inside the cavity, and check and clear any blockages in the die head orifice. Prevention measures: Strictly control the moisture content and particle size of the raw materials, feed at a uniform rate, and ensure sufficient preheating before starting the machine to avoid material sticking due to low-temperature feeding.

Poor pellet buoyancy/sinking: Parameter and raw material adjustment. Insufficient pellet buoyancy is often caused by excessively low temperature, insufficient pressure, or excessively low starch content. Solution: Increase the temperature of the twin screw floating fish feed pellet making machine by 5-10℃, increase the pressure by 0.5-1MPa, and extend the material maturation time; if the starch content is below 35%, supplement with corn flour, wheat flour, or other raw materials to ensure support for extrusion molding. Simultaneously check the moisture content of the raw materials; if too high, dry them to avoid affecting the extrusion effect.

Abnormal equipment noise/overload: Component inspection and adjustment. If metallic friction noise, increased vibration, or motor overload occurs during operation, it is mostly due to wear of the twin screws, aging bearings, or hard impurities in the raw materials. Troubleshooting: Immediately stop the machine, disassemble the extruder to inspect the screw wear, and repair or replace damaged parts; replace aging bearings and add lubricating oil; remove hard impurities from the raw materials, re-screen them, and restart the equipment to prevent further damage to components.
